The Tropical design
Designed as a housing solution for families in remote hot and humid climates, the Tropical model balances the desire for a ‘residential’ typology with the need to adjust the house to mediate the harsh climatic conditions. Screens and louvres can be adjusted shade veranda spaces and to allow cool breezes to permeate through the house. The house is elevated to encourage cool breezes under house. All components are manufactured in kit form that can be easily transported and assembled on site.
